Established in 2020, TP Caring Spaces is a registered UK charity run by Bunny Turner and Emma Pocock - founders of London-based Interior Design Studio, Turner Pocock. The mission for TP Caring Spaces is simple: "To find the gaps, and use our skills and network to fill charitable spaces with great design."
Determined to utilise their skills and network to benefit a wide range of charities, TP Caring Spaces self-funded their first few projects and have gone on to raise funds and win the support and donations of numerous brands within the design world and far beyond.
Their objective of ensuring that through their work the functional feels valued, and the institutional environment becomes restorative, has also created additional benefits and in some cases unlocked the commercial potential of these previously overlooked areas.
“We share a deep-seated belief in the power of good design, and it fuels everything we do. TP Caring Spaces is an opportunity to unite with lots of wonderful people from the design world and breathe life into these essential and often forgotten spaces.”
Welcoming, creative and restorative, the Barons Court Project is a drop-in centre for the homeless and those suffering with mental health issues.
