Welcoming, creative and restorative, the Barons Court Project is a drop-in centre for the homeless and those suffering with mental health issues.
The Barons Court Project is a champion of art therapy and provider of the most scrumptious and nutritious food. With the help of our brilliant design partners, we managed to transform two key communal spaces into light-filled havens for relaxation, recuperation and even a spot of work.
One of the hugely therapeutic and effective initiatives established at the brilliant Barons Court Project, is an art room offering lessons and a calm space in which the community can relax and develop their creative skills.
Dave Martin is a member of the community, a Big Issue seller and a talented artist. He produces bold geometric designs that are sold as cards, t-shirts and bags and recently, thanks to the help of amazing rug designer Amy Kent, one has been turned into an eye-catching rug design. The perfect addition to the TP Caring Spaces scheme.
“The community love the new spaces that have succeeded in making the Project feel more like a home for those that do not have one.”
